A catch-all feature that is activated for a specific e-mailbox will allow you to receive emails that are sent to email addresses that do not really exist. Otherwise stated, if you delete an email address and someone still sends an email to it, or to any mistyped address under the very same domain, you will get the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be essential in case you are running a business, for instance. Since you may start receiving unsolicited bulk email messages, you can combine the catch-all functionality with anti-spam filtering software so as to get only real emails in your inbox. Only one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Website Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all e-mailbox without any effort if you have a cloud website hosting plan with us. The Email Manager in our in-house built Hepsia hosting Control Panel is feature-loaded, yet extremely easy to work with, and it will allow you to activate different options, including the catch-all one, with just a few mouse clicks. All the mailboxes that you have will be shown alphabetically in this section and on the right side of each one of them you’ll find a tiny "Catch-all" symbol. Clicking on it once will activate this option, clicking it for a second time will disable it. As you can have only one such mailbox per domain, our system will alert you if you’ve already got a different one with this feature enabled or if you have active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

You will be able to set up a catch-all email address with no more than one click if you have a semi-dedicated server with our company and your emails are handled by our cloud hosting platform. All the email addresses that you create with any domain name hosted in your account will be displayed in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Each of them will have a small-size "Catch-all" icon next to it, so all it will take to activate this feature will be to click on that icon. In the same way you’ll be able to disable the feature, in case you no longer need it. Our system will let you know if you are trying to activate a 2nd catch-all address for a given domain name or in case there’s activated email forwarding, but it’ll never disable or modify anything automatically and without your consent.
